Margaliot & Kanishman is committed to providing equal and independent access to the main pniden.com website, including for people with disabilities.

Target standard and scope

The binding standard for the main website is Israeli Standard SI 5568 Part 1, September 2023 edition, Level AA, including its Israeli national modifications and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013 (Regulation 35). This statement details the implemented adjustments and direct contact channels for the atelier's accessibility coordinators.

Adjustments implemented on the main website

• Semantic header, navigation, main-content and footer regions, with document language and direction fully updated for Hebrew (RTL) and English (LTR).
• A skip link to main content, logical focus order, and visible focus indicators.
• Full keyboard operation for navigation, mobile menu, color picker, forms, interactive links and buttons.
• Named modal dialogs with inert backgrounds, contained focus traps, Escape support, and focus restoration to opening controls.
• Explicit form labels, required-field identification, screen-reader announced success and error messages, and preservation of entered content after submission errors.
• Support for text enlargement and browser zoom up to 200%, narrow responsive layouts, forced-colors environments, and system reduced-motion preferences.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and exclusion of decorative visual layers from assistive technologies.

Optional accessibility controls

The website is built to remain accessible without opening the accessibility controls. The panel offers optional preferences including text enlargement, high contrast, readable type, text spacing, link and heading highlighting, and reduced motion. Preferences are stored only in the browser and can be reset without removing unrelated site data.

You can navigate to the accessibility launcher using standard keyboard navigation (Tab) and activate it with Enter or Space. A safe, supplementary modifier shortcut (Alt + A) is also available and is disabled while typing inside form fields to prevent conflicts.

Known limitations

• This repository includes separate demonstration sites under websites/. They are outside the scope of this main-site update and may have independent implementations and statements.
• The behavior of external services such as WhatsApp and browser extensions is outside the site operators’ control.
• Full human-user testing with NVDA and VoiceOver, and legal review of the applicability of every statutory requirement, remain necessary. This is disclosed to avoid implying certification that has not been obtained.
